| ABOUT CHASLYNN GÎTES |
| If you want to spend your holiday in a peaceful, rural setting,
come to Chaslyn Gîtes in the Pays Mellois, right in the heart of
the Poitou-Charentes area of south west France. "Chaslynn Gîtes
is located in a small hamlet, down a safe country lane. The open countryside
surrounding it is ideal for walking and cycling. Situated in the grounds of our own property, our gîtes offer all the essentials to make your stay relaxing and restful. We live in the main house and are there to welcome you. After that we are available whenever you need us! 
All the gites have been converted into modern holiday accommodation since
1997 from original farm buildings. We have one further property to finish.
Your gite is located in the grounds of our own home in a small hamlet
down a safe country lane. The 5 acre private grounds, which are surrounded
by fields used for grazing cattle and sheep and growing sun flowers, give
you the opportunity to relax after a day’s sightseeing - watching
the sun set as you enjoy a glass of wine. Or if you have done enough driving
just stay put, use the pool, relax and unwind. |
The majority of the grounds are available for your use with plenty of
room for football, badminton, cricket etc. We have a selection of bats and
balls for you to borrow. All the gites have access to the small 4.5 metre
diameter splash pool which is about 3 ft deep.  There
is also a 12 metre by 6 metre salt water pool set in its own landscaped
grounds and protected by a childproof hedge and wall.Access is by a gate with a childproof latch. There is a shallow end and a deep end of about 5ft 6ins. At the main house we have a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer and there is also an iron and ironing board for you to use. We keep the various balls here as well as a number of board games for you to borrow. Next to this room is the games room which is equipped with snooker, table tennis, darts and table football. |
